BELOVED AUTHOR JAN BERENSTAIN DIES

The world of children's literature is saddened by the announcement of the passing of Jan Berenstain. She and her husband Stan (who preceded her in death in 2005)  wrote and illustrated the Berenstain Bears series of books. This series has been a staple for generations of parents in introducing many concepts of family and community life to their children.

The Big Honey Hunt is the book which started it all. Thank you Stan and Jan for all your gentle lessons from one grateful parent.
