Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover? Oh Come On!

I don’t know about you but I really don’t get the cover art for most romance books.  Have you ever found yourself hiding the cover?  Bending it over so no one can see it?  I’ve read many books were there was more happening on the cover then in the pages.   But….. maybe that’s just me.   I really like some of the new covers I have been seeing.  What do you think?   Do you prefer something a little more demure like me or something spicy?

A Little Romance, A Little Mystery, A Little Suspense

I just love romantic suspense novels.  How about you?  Does a good romance with some mystery, intrigue or suspense all woven together sound good?   You can find all different kinds to suit your mood.  These stories tend to be more plot-driven instead of character-driven.  By the end of the story the mystery has been solved and the relationship is solid, all wrapped up nice and neat.  Some of my favorite authors are Linda Howard, Karen Robards,

Self-published to Published!

I have been reading a lot of self-published books lately.  They are on the New York Times Best Sellers list quite often.  Three of my current favorites have been picked up by publishers and now you can check them out from the library.  I love, love, love Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire!   I can’t wait for Walking Disaster to come out.  It is really going to be tough waiting until next April!  Sylvia Day’s Bared to You is pretty specta
