Romance Readers vs. Science Fiction Readers

Amy, who is a science fiction reader and I, a devout romance reader, were very surprised to find we were reading some of the same authors. The romance/fantasy/paranormal crossover is leading us to branch out in our reading material. It’s been kind of fun to be able to suggest some of my favorite authors to her and know that she might actually read them and vice versa. We first found out we were reading the same author, Katie McAlister. Her Aisling Grey, Guardian novels certainly cover both genres. Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series also can give both of us the fix that we need. So the next time you are browsing the shelves looking for something to read try looking in both areas.

 

More Love Than You Can Handle

Do you read faster than your favorite romance authors can write? Are you looking for new authors but don’t want to invest your time in an entire book? A great way to find new authors is to try one of our anthologies. I like to find one that has a story from one of my favorite authors and then I get to try a few new authors.  It gives me a chance to see if I like their writing style and content.  Here are a four that I receintly read and enjoyed.
