Ladies, are you looking for tips to boost your financial life?  The Maud Marks Branch Library is hosting a Women and Investing seminar on Friday, August 14 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.  Clint Eric Saurage, an Investment Representative from Edward Jones, will be here to teach smart financial planning for the future. Strike, Scrape, Shake!

Summer’s going by quickly so stop by to see our last children’s performer for the summer!  Mark Shelton’s  Strike, Shake, Scrape program especially for kids is on Wednesday, August 5.  Hear a variety of percussion instruments from all over the world right here at Maud Marks!  While you’re waiting check out Mark’s website.

 

This program is designed for elementary-aged children who are able to sit alone.  Free tickets are available on Wednesday when we open at 10am.  We hope to see you there!

Be Keen with Emma-Jean!

Do you like stories about girls who have an interesting way of seeing the world and like to help their friends? Are you 10-14 years old? If so be sure to sign up for the ‘Be Keen with Emma-Jean’ Tween Book Club at the Maud Marks Branch! We're reading Emma-Jean Lazarus Fell Out of a Tree by Lauren Tarshis. There are three different sessions at 2pm on July 27, August 3, & August 10; you can sign up for one or all of them online or at the information desk. Don't worry if you haven't read it yet; the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council are sponsoring the club and providing books!
