Reminder for Maud Marks Summer Volunteers

Remember that volunteer applications for the Maud Marks Library are due this Friday, May 20. Be sure to turn in your application by that time so we can schedule you for this summer.  Volunteers should be entering 6th grade or above and must attend an orientation session either at 4:30pm on Monday, May 23 or at 7pm on Tuesday, May 31. Schedules will be given out at orientation.

Thanks for your interest!

There's Still Time to Do Your Taxes . . .

And what better way than with free tax help!  The AARP is still offering free tax assistance at Maud Marks on Mondays and Fridays from 10am until 2pm.  This year the deadline is April 18 which is also the last day of tax assistance.  Remember to bring all of your W2s, 1099s, Social Security cards for yourself and all dependents, and checking account info if you plan to file electronically.  If Monday and Friday mornings don’t work with your schedule here are other locations with this service.

Springtime Craft

Kids, be sure to come to the Maud Marks Branch next Wednesday, March 9 at 4:30pm to make your own birdfeeder!  The hungry birds in your yard will thank you. This craft is for school-aged children.
