We the People Display

History comes to life in 1776, one of the books on our “We the People” display. This awesome title is filled with exact replicas of letters and documents contained in many museums. You can hold the battle map for Trenton, letters from George Washington or a broadsheet announcing the “Declaration of Independence.”   Each page is a treasure!

All Aboard for the Edible Mystery Tour

The Edible Mystery Tour Mystery Tour continued on June 30th as we ate our way through Bloodroot by Susan Wittig Albert. Herb bread, tomato pie and rosemary cookies were among the treats participants enjoyed as we discussed this book which is set in Mississippi and features family skeletons dating back to the Civil War. The tour highlights mysteries which include recipes.   Next stop on the Tour is on July 21st at 1pm for Sticks and Scones by Diana Mott Davidson. Sounds yummy!
