Craft Time!

Fall Leaves

Join us on Monday, November 22nd, at 2:30pm for a fun fall craft!  We will be making colorful painted leaf banners.  This craft might get a little messy, so don't forget to wear something that's ok to get stained.  This program is for school age children 5 & up.

Cooking With Kids

The holidays are quickly approaching and it's time to start thinking about all the wonderful food that accompanies the season.  Why not include your children and grandchildren in the planning and cooking?  The library has many books that provide recipes and ideas for including kids in the kitchen.  Here's a few to help you get ready for Thanksgiving.

Movie Madness

It's movie time again at Parker Williams.  Join us on Monday, November 8th at 4pm for this family friendly movie (rated PG).  Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, this action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn’t exactly fit in with his tribe’s longstanding traditions of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup’s world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges he and fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.

Owls!

Do owls only sleep during the day? What do they eat? How do they fly so silently? Join us on Monday, October 25th as we take a closer look at owls. Make your own owl mask. Saltgrass Science presents this come & go science/craft program from 4:30 - 6:30pm. Ages 5 & Up.
