Senior Movie Morning Thursday Feb 4 at 10:00 am

Join us on Thursday, February 4th at 10:00 am for "Senior Movie Morning."  The movie for this month is from 1941 starring Gary Cooper, Barbara Stanwyck, and Dana Andrews. "When a serious-minded professor and his high brow colleagues begin work on a new encyclopedia, the professor enlists the aid of a beautiful but shady night club queen to explain slang, unaware that she is on the run from the mob" (HCPL catalog). Come and join us for a look back at a classic. Senior Movie Mornings start in January 2010

 

Join us on Thursday, January 7th at 10:00 am for our first "Senior Movie Morning."  The selection for January is a movie from 1949 starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, and Judy Holliday. It is a comedy which tells the story of a husband and wife lawyer team who clash when the wife defends a woman on trial for shooting her spouse. The lawyer-husband is the prosecuter. Tour the White House on DVD Monday, December 28th at 7:00 pm

Come and tour the White House with us while we celebrate "We the People: Picturing America." The program will be held on Monday, December 28th at 7:00 pm in the Earl Elliott Meeting Room at the library. Segments from several documentaries will be shown creating an informal tour of the White House including the kitchen and the Chocolate Shop.
