April 8th Fun4Seniors Excursion Trip still open for attendees

The March trip to the George Ranch Historical Park was AMAZING and our April destinations are sure to be a hit, too! There is still time to register for next week's trip so don't wait to call!

Tuesday, April 8th, 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM: Heritage Village Museum. Enjoy a guided tour of this living pioneer museum with an all-you-can-eat home-style lunch at the Pickett House Restaurant. Cost is $18 per person includes entry and lunch. 

Harris County Precinct 4 Fun4Seniors program is open to individuals 50 years and better. To register and for more information, please call 281-893-3726.

Interested in genealogy? If so, we have just the programs for you! 

This Saturday, March 15th at 10:30 AM, is Genealogy Tips & Tricks, presented by Karen Rasmussen. This class covers tips on how to find information and shed light as to why some information is unavailable.

Adult Crafternoon: Terrariums

TerrariumGet in the mood for Spring with Adult Crafternoon on Friday, March 14th at 2:30 PM! This month's meeting is all about terrariums. Create a small terrarium and personalize yours by painting small creatures, words, or whatever your heart desires.

Adult Crafternoon meets monthly on the 2nd Friday at 2:30 PM. It is free to attend and open to ages 18 and over. Supplies are provided courtesy of FOLK and are limited to 8 participants. Registration is not required; supplies are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Celebrate Will Eisner Week by reading a graphic novel

According to Comic Book Resources, the Will and Ann Eisner Family Foundation is celebrating its sixth Will Eisner Week, “an annual celebration promoting graphic novels, literacy, free speech awareness, and the legacy of Will Eisner” The year Will Eisner Week takes place between March 1st and 7th and always falls on the week of his birthday, March 6th.

Don't know how to celebrate? Simply celebrate by reading a graphic novel! Any graphic novel will do or read one of Mr. Eisner's works.
