ReNest, a personal favorite site to follow for green living tips and more, recently shared 10 Things You Can Do Today to Start Living Greener. Here are a few that I am starting to do which are mentioned in their tips:

April is Genocide Awareness Month

April is Genocide Awareness Month and the Holocaust Museum Houston will have programs throughout April to increase awareness of this tragic action that still takes place today. Genocide is the the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group. The theme for genocide awareness month is learning to be an upstander – a person who stands up for others and takes actions on their behalf. Be sure to visit here for Holocaust Museum Houston programs and how you can stand up for others.

If you would like to learn more about genocide, check out these titles.
