April is Genocide Awareness Month

April is Genocide Awareness Month and the Holocaust Museum Houston will have programs throughout April to increase awareness of this tragic action that still takes place today. Genocide is the the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group. The theme for genocide awareness month is learning to be an upstander – a person who stands up for others and takes actions on their behalf. Be sure to visit here for Holocaust Museum Houston programs and how you can stand up for others.

Cy-Fair and Tomball Branch Libraries will close today at 5:00 pm due to weather conditions. We apologize for the inconvenience.

All libraries will close at 5:00 PM today due to weather conditions. Cy-Fair and Tomball branch libraries will be closed on Friday and are scheduled to open regular hours on Saturday. At this time, all other branches are scheduled to open regular hours on Friday. Please keep posted for further information. We apologize for the inconvenience.
