Princeton Review SAT & ACT @ Your Library

Are you planning to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)?  Or the ACT?  Would you like to attend a session on how to prepare for the SAT and a session on preparing for the ACT?  If so, you should plan to register for the Princeton Review sessions that will be at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  The SAT session is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, and the ACT session is scheduled for Saturday, May 10.  Each session is scheduled for 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the library's meeting room.  If you would like to register for either or both sessions, please access the Princeton Review website at http://www.princetonreview.com.

Get Ready for Gardening

Spring has officially arrived and it's time to think about what you want to plant in your garden and ways to successfully garden.  The Fairbanks Branch Library has gardening resources to help you get and keep a "green thumb."  Please browse our latest display, "Gardening Resources," on your next visit to the library and you can find just a few of the many gardening books available for the gardener in you.  If we don't have the book you need, just ask us to interlibrary loan what you need.  Happy Gardening and Happy Reading!
