2012 Printz Award Winner Announced!

Every year, the Michael L. Printz Award is given to a book that "exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature."  The 2012 award and honor books were announced this morning, so be sure to check them out if you're looking for a great read!

AND THE WINNERS OF THE TEEN WRITING CONTEST ARE ...

The winners of the 2010 Summer Teen Writing Contest were announced August 14 at a reception at the Barbara Bush Library. Almost 70 entries were received in the contest co-sponsored by the Young Adult Librarians at the Barbara Bush and Lonestar College Tomball branches. Congratulations to all entrants on a job well done! Winners in the four categories were:
