Shining a Light on Autism Art DisplayThe propanels on the second floor of the Barbara Bush Library are currently displaying artwork by students at Learning Lane, a clinic serving children with autism/language delays in The Woodlands. A companion facility in the Spring area, Linder Young Learners Academy, is adding two classrooms in May dedicated to children (from 12 months to 7 years) on the Autism Spectrum or with Language Delays.

New Book Club Premieres July 1

A cooperative effort between the Barbara Bush Library and the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts begins tomorrow with the first session of the "Pen and Paintbrush Book Club." This group will meet during each exhibition cycle at the museum, and will include a museum tour, a discussion of a classic book tied to the exhibition theme, a viewing of a related film, and one or more special lectures.
