Volunteer Clean-Up Day

Aldine volunteers

It has been a busy summer here at the Aldine Library. That's the way we like it. Now that the Summer Reading Program has drawn to a close- and with school getting ready to start- we decided the library could use a good cleaning. This morning, a few good volunteers from the community stepped up to the plate and went above and beyond the work provided by the library janitorial service. Tables, computers, doors, windows and desks got a good swabbing. Thanks to the effort of our teen and adult volunteers, the building is looking nice, neat, and extra clean.
