Children's Summer Programs at the Spring Branch Memorial Library

My first summer as the new children’s librarian at the Spring Branch Memorial Library has been a whirlwind of fun for me and I’ve enjoyed getting to know all the customers who visit the branch, especially the children. I hope the kids have enjoyed the programs as much as I have and want to remind everyone that there are still three weeks left of the Summer Reading Program (SRP) left, with exciting programs throughout the week for children of all ages. In addition to regular storytimes for infants, toddlers and preschool children to age 6 the branch will be will host special programs with activities appropriate especially for children until August 7th.  This week we will learn the beautiful art of Origami with the Japanese Culture Society of Houston on Thursday at 3 and 4 PM....
