Are you ready to find that dream job?  We want to help!  On Saturday, April 20 at 10 AM, we will be hosting a class on how to use our Job & Career Accelerator Database.  The database can be used to help you decide which career would be perfect for you.  Then, you can use it to find that perfect job.  Finally, create the ultimate resume and cover letter to get yourself that interview.  Use the database to track the entire process as you work towards getting your dream job!  Learn to do all this and more!

Need help with your resume?  Workforce Solutions' presenter Cheryl Sandifer will be providing helpful tips and advice to help you develop and polish your resume!  This free workshop will be offered on Tuesday, March 19 at 1:00 p.m. in our Computer Lab. United Way Workshops: Interviewing & Debt Free Holiday Season

United Way Bay Area Financial Opportunity Center will be hosting two excellent free workshops in the next couple of weeks at the United Way Bay Area Service Center, which is located at 1300 Bay Area Blvd., Building A, Houston, TX 77058.  On Thursday, November 29th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. they will offer a Behavorial Interviewing Skills Workshop.  The workshop will cover role playing common interview questions, learning how to answer behavioral questions, what your body language says to an employer, and how to talk about and present your best self.
