Winter Owls - December Adults-Crafts-to-Go!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library will offer the continuation of the Adult “Crafts- to-Go!” program on Monday, December 3rd.  This month's project is a winter owl like the one seen on the right.  All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library.  This project will be available at the Second Floor Information Desk while supplies last.

A Hoot and Holler For Owl Books

This week, I wanted to share a few of my favorite owl books with you.  No specific reason really other than the fact that I adore owls.  I hope that you enjoy the stories and illustrations of these delightful picture books.

I am going to tell you a secret that almost no one knows about me...  I adore owls!!! Needless to say, I have at least one owl themed storytime a year. Luckily, many children's authors  must also admire these wise little creature for there are several wonderful books in our system.
