puppet show

Explore India @ Your Library

* Space is limited.

Thursday, May 16th @ 10am.
This year, as we celebrate Asian Pacific Heritage Month,  we will be traveling to  India. Children and their  families are invited to join us for a free  puppet show.

* Tickets are not required. The safety of the children we serve is our first consideration. Room  capacity, as  determined by the fire  Marshall, as well as our desire for a  high-quality program necessitates limits.

This program will be in place of our regularly scheduled storytime.

Asian-Pacific Heritage Month

If you were not aware, May is Asian-Pacific Heritage Month.  Here at Northwest, we will have several events to spotlight the various peoples and cultures of Asia and the Pacific.  On May 18th, we will have an Origami Workshop at 1:00 pm as well as a Henna Workshop at 2:00 pm.  On May 25th, there will be a Shadow Puppet Show and Craft in the meeting room at 1:00 pm.  Be sure to check our online calendar to stay up to date with all our special events throughout the month.

"Magical Monday" Puppet Show

Don't forget Dragoneers, Thursday, April 25, at 4 pm.

Hispanic Heritage Month @ The Library

PUPPET PIZZAZ EXTRAVAGANZA: AUG. 2ND AT 3 PM

Kids, join us on August 2nd at 3 pm for a Puppet Pizzaz Extravaganza with Mr. Greg Ruhe  for our final SRP program this year. Tickets can be picked up at the information desk 1 hour before the program.  Mr. Ruhe has been delighting children in schools and libraries in the Houston area for the past 20 years with his puppets. This show is sure to be a lot of fun so we look forward to seeing you all there. Because of limited space, children must be old enough to sit through a program without a parent.
