Clear Lake City Freeman Library and SCORE proudly announce a partnership focusing on assisting entrepreneurs by providing education, counseling and mentoring! Join us for this "FREE" workshop and help us to celebrate the alliance of SCORE and the Clear Lake City Freeman Library.

Free Quickbooks for Beginners Workshop - 11/17

Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library and SCORE of Houston invite you to learn about Quickbooks presented by Quintin Wiggins, CEO of EQQuickbooks on Saturday, November 17th at 10:00 am in the Community Room. This workshop will take out the mystique of reading and understanding financial statements and show you how Quickbooks can be your partner in growing your total business. Registration is required

Low-Cost Marketing presented by SCORE @ your library

Need a few pointers on marketing? Please join us as Freeman Branch Library and SCORE Houston present "Low-Cost Marketing." This workshop takes place on Saturday, August 25th at 10:30 AM in Freeman's Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor. 

All businesses, large and small consistently list "marketing" as their number one challenge.

In this 2 hour workshop, you will learn how to:

1) Identify and develop a marketing plan including identifying your target market.
2) Understand your competition.
3) Set your strategy and budget.
4) Determine your competitive advantage.

You will also, take away valuable tips on promotional strategies, cost analysis and advertising geared specifically for small businesses.
