Sssssssssnakes, thissssss Sssssssaturday!

SssssnakesCome one, come all! This Sssssssaturday we will be celebrating the Year of the Snake. We will be serving up some goodies from Panda Express, making crafts to bring in the Lunar New Year and learning all about this year's honoree, the ssssssnake! Live snakes will be the highlight of the celebration! Meet us in the lobby of the library at 1:00pm. That's when the fun will ssssssstart! Sssssssee you there!

Snakes in the Library!

In case you missed it there were snakes in the Aldine Library on Wednesday, August 1st! Not to worry. The snakes were part of an informative and educational Summer Reading Program event featuring Texas Snakes & More. Everyone had a slithering good time.

No Children's Program on Monday, but..

Learn about the natural world and snake behavior. From identification to habitat, medical uses and more! Interesting myths and legends are also included in the presentation. There will be an opportunity to view, touch and perhaps even hold live snakes!

The safety of the children we serve is our first consideration. Room capacity, as determined by the fire Marshall, as well as our desire for a high quality program, does necessitate limits. Please be aware that space is limited and tickets will be required.

Barmollys Snake Show

This was your chance to learn all about snakes in this safe, hands-on demonstration.  Date of program:  Thursday, July 29, 3pm and repeated at 4pm.  Upcoming: Mad Science, Thursday, August 5, 3pm and repeated at 4pm.

Thomas the Snake Man visited the Lone Star College-Tomball Library on Monday, June 21st.  

Many customers had a ssssssssensational time meeting his snakes.
