Need some volunteer hours over Spring Break? We have a short term project (1 week) needing a lot of volunteer hours. You can help the library by volunteering to help us during Patron Count week, March 11-16. We need a volunteer to sit at a table in our lobby every hour the library is open to the public to count each person who enters. This is a perfect opportunity for high school students needing service hours for NHS or other organizations. 
Spring Break is coming up soon and if you're looking for fun, free ways to keep your kids and teens engaged and entertained, Harris County Public Library is just the ticket. In addition to their regular slate of programs, many HCPL branches will host special events the week of March 11 - 16.
