New Things in Store

The Baldwin Boettcher Library has been making many changes over the last year to create an environment that is pleasant, organized, and technologically friendly.  The latest change we are making is we will no longer offer Family Storytime on Wednesday evenings.  Instead we will be providing a more diverse array of programs for the whole community to enjoy.  Such as more food programs and art classes that the public has shown a great interest in.  Don't worry folks we still have our other story times available for the kids to enjoy.  Lapsit Storytime on Tuesdays at 10 am, Toddler Storytime on Thursdays at 10:30 am, and Preschool Storytime on Tuesdays at 11 am.  So come back to see and experience what is new at Baldwin Boettcher Library!

New Storytime Schedule Starting In September

Each week, the Atascocita Branch Library, provides seven age appropriate storytime programs for families in our community.  As many of you know, the toddler storytime sessions have become extremely popular, and this has been especially true for the morning toddler session. Therefore, starting in September, we are making a few small changes to our program schedule. We hope that these changes will be positive ones for the community, and we look forward to seeing more of our friends.

Ribbit, Ribbit! Things Will Be Hoppin' in Storytime This Week.

Jump on over to the library this week for storytime.  Ms Susan will be reading books about frogs and there will also be an opportunity for children to make a really cute craft. Please be aware that space is limited.

Toddler Storytime is on Wednesdays at 10 am and 1:30 pm.

Pre-School Storytime is on Thursdays at 10 am.

Below are a few picture books that you can checkout to expand your child's experience.

Meet the new Children's Librarian

Please come to our story times, or just visit the library to meet our new Children's Librarian, Leanne Connery.  She comes to us from Massachusetts and still has family in that neck of the woods.  She now lives in the Kingwood area.  Come meet and greet her.  Get to know her.  She is an asset to our team here at Baldwin Boettcher.  Story times are found on our events page.  Bring the children in so they may read, sing and play with Ms Leanne.
