Teen Electronic Games Night, Ages 14 Up, July 10th

Jacinto City Branch Library is having Teen Electronic Games Night for ages 14 and up tonight, July 10th, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in our Meeting Room.  Come and join us for some fun!

Teen Time: Steampunk Jewelry Making

Love steampunk jewelry but don’t know how to make it? Then come join us on Monday, June 23rd at 3:00 pm in the public meeting room for our Teen Time Summer Program. We will submerge ourselves into the world of steampunk and create extraordinary pieces of jewelry. This program is recommended for teenagers 12 to 18 years old. All materials will be provided while supplies last. 

TAG - March 24 @ 6:30pm, Teen Area

TAGThe school year is starting to wind down, but there is still plenty of good to be done by joining TAG.  TAG meets the 4th Monday of every month during the school year at 6:30pm to help brainstorm ideas and help prepare programs.  It’s a great addition to any college, scholarship, and/or job application.  This month's program will take place Monday, March 24th @ 6:30pm.  Questions?  Contact Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804 for more information.

Round 1 Starts Today!

Round 1 of our March Madness: YA Book Bracket kicks off today in the Kingwood Library's Teen Area.  Vote for your favorites and see who moves up the bracket to the championship matchup.  There will be 4 rounds including the Championship matchup.  Each round for voting will last a week, starting today, March 10.  Vote online by clicking here or in the Teen Area.  Questions?  Ask Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804

Are you a manga or anime fanatic?  Toshokan Tuesday is a monthly meetup for fans in grades 6-12 or ages 12-18.  Each month we chat about manga and anime we are reading and watching, hypothetical character matchups, and ideas for new anime and manga.  Sometimes we do a craft and have Japanese snacks.  For more information, contact Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804

Kingwood Branch Library's Teen Advisory Group meets the 4th Monday of every month at 6:30p m in the Teen Area.  This group is open to teens and tweens ages 12-18 or in grades 6-12.  Our next meeting is January 27th @ 6:30pm.  Keep reading to find out more about TAG. 

Melted Crayon Art

This is a great program for teens (and adults who are still colorful at heart) to create works of art out of a canvas, crayons, and a hair dryer. You don't need to bring anything but your imagination! The program is on Thursday, December 19th at 4:30 pm. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
