Toddler Time @ Your Library

Parents, grandparents and kids, join us on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am for Toddler Time! Children 18 months old to 3 years of age are welcomed into a vibrant half hour fun time of sharing books with Miss Kim and Miss Michelle. This activity enriched educational time also includes songs kids can sing and dance to as well as building blocks and other educational toys. Selected programs conclude with an age appropriate craft. Story Time Crafts

If you haven't joined us for story time recently, then come on out. We made these sticker trees recently, and it was lots of fun!

We have four story times a week -

Lap Sit (0-18 months): Tuesdays from 10-11 AM.

Preschool (3-5 years): Tuesdays from 11 AM to 12 PM.

Toddler (18 months to 3 years): Thursdays from 10:30-11:30 AM.

Family (All ages): Wednesday Evenings from 6:30-7:30 PM.

December Programs for Children

    Join us for festive storytimes and events in December.   Santa Claus will make his annual stop at Freeman Library on Thursday, December 13 from  5:30-7:00 pm.  Parents are encouraged to bring a camera to take a picture of their child with Santa.  This program is recommended for children from infants to 12 years old.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available from the Kids Information Desk starting 30 minutes before the program.  The tickets will be numbered and the children will be called up to meet Santa Claus in numeric order.

Changes for storytimes for Thanksgiving Break

  The Toddler Time and Book Babies storytimes will meet only one time next week during Thanksgiving Break.  Toddler Time will be held on Monday, November 19 at 11:15 am.  Toddler Time is for children 18 months to 3 years old.  Book Babies will be held on Wednesday, November 21 at 11:15 am.  Book Babies is for children newborn to 18 months old.  However, Preschool Storytime will be held at its regular time of 1:30 pm on Tuesday, November 20 and Wednesday, November 21.  Preschool Storytime is for children 3-5 years old.  Tickets are required for each storytime.  They are free and given out from the Kids Information Desk starting 30 minutes before each program. 

Diwali Storytimes

     Join us for Toddler Time and Preschool Storytime on November 12-14 as we feature books, songs, and an activity about Diwali.  We'll learn about some of the ways that children in India and other countries celebrate this holiday. 

The Toddler Time program is for children 18 months through 3 years old.  It is held on Mondays at 11:15 am and Tuesdays at 10:15 and 11:15 am.  The Preschool Storytime program is for children 3-5 years old.  It is held on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons at 1:30 pm.  Tickets are required for each of these programs.  They are free and available from the Kids Information starting 30 minutes before each program.  Tickets for 10:15 am programs are given out as soon as the library opens.
