Adult Events this June!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library is pleased to announce its events for Adults in June*.  We will continue with TGIF Programs, various book clubs, Freeman Needlecrafters, Adult Crafts to Go, Clear Lake Area Writers (CLAW), SCORE Counseling, and CreatorSpace.

Literary Elements, the Adult Summer Reading Program, kicks off Monday, June 2 and continues throughout the summer. Participants who read 5 books or 600 minutes win a nice coffee mug. Also, they can enter a drawing for an Amazon Kindle.

On Wednesday, June 11, we will host an opening for an art exhibition of the The Arts Alliance of Clear Lake (TAACL) at 6:00 PM.

As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we invite patrons of all ages to join us on Saturday, June 28 for our Fine Arts @ Freeman Day. Artists featured include Janie Lacroix, Richard Williams, Sabine Stromeyer, TAACL, and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Additionally, we look forward to having activity centers that all can enjoy.

The Trivia Express (Online Program for people of all ages) “Module #7 – U.S. National Parks” will last throughout the summer. The Trivia Express Featured Film Series will present a feature for Module #7 on Monday, June 9 at 6:15 PM in the Teen Zone.
