BOOKS ON THE BAYOU

Their Eyes Were Watching GodThis year’s selection for the Books on the Bayou is Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. The Books on the Bayou is a community-wide effort designed to encourage reading of the same book at the same time and is meant to inspire reading and thoughtful discussion among Houstonians. On Wednesday, October 21 from 1 - 2 PM, our branch will be having a small group discussion of the book led by one of the Lone Star College - Tomball staff.
