Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month With Traditional Pottery

Children can celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by creating their own pinch pots this Thursday at Parker Williams. Pre-Columbian Central and South Americans, as well as other cultures, made pinch pots out of clay before the introduction of the pottery wheel about 4,000 years ago.

The craft session for children ages 5-12 will be at 4 pm Thursday, Oct. 15. Tickets are required and will be available beginning Wednesday.
