Christmas and Dracula

Christmas and Dracula are not words I would normally use together, however, Anne Perry in  A Christmas Homecoming did a wonderful job of bringing them together.  The story is set in an isolated millionaire's mansion cut off by a blizzard in Victorian England.  Charlotte Pitt's mother, Caroline, her actor husband along with his theatrical group have come to finalize and present a play of the popular book Dracula. The play was written by the daughter of millionaire Charles Netheridge and is to be presented to family and friends on Christmas eve.  A stranger who has also been stranded by the storm is given refuge and is found murdered a few days later. It is up to Caroline to figure out who did it to save the production and protect the future of the troupe.
