Databases @ your Library
Harris County Public Library (HCPL) members enjoy free access to numerous electronic databases. Thanks to the TexShare program, can utilize a number of these databases at no cost.
Our databases cover a broad spectrum of information. Members can find pull up articles on topics such as Health & Medicine, Law & Government, and Homework. Also, members seeking something good to read can discover the resources listed under Books & Reading. They can give the Languages databases a try. Many already utilize databases listed under the Genealogy heading.
Just a few databases require users to be at Freeman or any of the other HCPL branches. Most of the databases permit library members to access them offsite; with their library barcode numbers, they can log onto these databases remotely.
So, whether you're at Freeman or somewhere else, please check out our databases. Happy viewing!
