Fun4Seniors May Excursions from Kingwood Branch Library

HCP4 Fun4SeniorsKingwood Branch Library is continuing its partnership with Harris County Precinct 4's Senior Adult Program to offer Fun4Seniors Excursion Trips for library customers in May 2014.

Participating is simple. Participants must be 50 years and better and must register for trips by calling 281-893-3726. All trips depart from and return to Kingwood Branch Library located at 4400 Bens View Lane, Kingwood TX 77339. Transportation is free and lunch is on your own. Some destinations require an admission fee. Please note trips may be cancelled due to low registration so be sure to register immediately!

The following trips will depart from and return to Kingwood Branch Library:

Wednesday, May 7, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Martha's Bloomers, Navasota. Discover and enjoy the sights, scents, and delightful treasures at this unique home and garden store. The cost is $13 and includes lunch at Café M. Bloomers.

Friday, May 16, 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM: St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, Beaumont. St. Anthony's was designed a Minor Basilica in 2006 by Pope Benedict XVI. Experience the magnificence of this church and enjoy it's historic, artistic, and religious significance. The cost is FREE with lunch on your own at Cracker Barrel.

Be sure to save the dates for June trips, too! On Thursday, June 5, Fun4Seniors will visit the Texas Quilt Museum in LaGrange and on Tuesday, June 24, Fun4Seniors will volunteer at Humble Area Assistance Ministries.
