The library has received a cool new book that has detailed descriptions and colorful pictures of various habitats and the animals and plants that live there. The book is The Practical naturalist: explore the wonders of the natural world / Jill Hamilton. It was produced in association with the National Audubon Society and the publisher DK, which is known for its visually appealing books. The Practical Naturalist is a book that is fun to look at...even if you don't feel like going outside! It would also be an excellent book to teach young people about the natural world.
Information for Persons with Disabilities: Harris County Public Library will make reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities who are interested in attending library programs. To make a request for yourself or someone you know, please notify the Branch Librarian two working days in advance of the program.
