Got Books?

So many books but so little time?

Well, may we recommend donating all those wonderful books to the Friends of Freeman?

Donate extra books and other material to the Friends of Freeman!

The Friends Of Freeman relies heavily upon book donations which they can sell in the Friends Of Freeman Library Bookstore. These donations go towards making our library an even better resource for the Greater Houston Community!

The Friends Of Freeman are looking for:

  • Almost any book
  • Specialty magazines such as Architectural Digest, Cooks Illustrated, Gourmet, House Beautiful, & Travel and Leisure  (not National Geographic
  • DVDs & VHS Tapes
  • CDs & LPs
  • Software (fairly current)
  • Audiobooks

The store cannot take or use:

  • Old textbooks (more than 5 years old)
  • Encyclopedias (more than 10 years old, with the exception of Encyclopedia Britannica)
  • Run-of-the-mill magazines
  • Media that is in bad condition - moldy, musty, excessively dirty, visibly falling apart, or otherwise damaged

If you have any questions, please call (281) 488-1906 and ask for the Bookstore (mornings are best).
