Humans In Space Youth Art Competition

Freeman Library is privileged to have on display from May through August works created by young artists as part of the Humans in Space Youth Art Competition.  This international competition, just having finished its second running, "encouraged youth (ages 10-18) to 'Be Inspired, Creative and Heard,' asking them to think about the future of human space flight and to creatively communicate their ideas through their visual, literary, musical or video artwork."  Enjoy taking in the many beautiful and creative works from all over the world on display in our Internet Cafe and find out how you can generate interest or be involved in future competitions, which strive for its participants "to enhance their awareness, interest and support for human space flight."
