It's not too late...

Writing a book of poetry is like dropping a rose petal down the Grand Canyon and waiting for the echo. – Don Marquis

The Atascocita Poetry Club would like to put out a chapbook of poems by its members at the end of this year. If you have attended any of the meetings this year, please feel free to submit some of your poetry at the library. However, even if you have never attended a meeting, it's not too late! We meet on the third Thursday of every month at 7 PM, so come by and bring your poems to share with the group. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, August 20 at 7 PM.

The Atascocita Branch Poetry Club is a group for poets ages 18 years and over.  It is an opportunity for members to explore the work of published poets and each other's writing to stimulate creative growth.  There is no prior experience obligation nor reading material outside of meetings required.
