June's Display Case

For the month of June, I was placed in charge of the display case in the GP lobby. To start, beginning June 4th we kicked off Harris County Public Library's 2010 Summer Reading Program. This year’s children’s theme is 'Catch the Reading Express'. Coinciding with that theme, I made a 3D train and added some books about summer reading fun. 

                                                                                                                       Secondly, on June 20th, we celebrated Father's Day!

And finally, seeing that most of the kidos are out of school for the summer and are looking for things to, I displayed a few different Summer Activity ideas for them!
