Marsha's Petting Zoo will be at Freeman Library this afternoon 3/11 from 2:30-4:30 pm

     Looking for a chance to get out and enjoy the spring weather?  Join us for fun as Marsha's Petting Zoo makes its annual stop at Freeman Library on Monday, March 11 from 2:30-4:30 pm.  No tickets are required for this free program.  We' will line up along the front porch and take folks through the zoo in small groups.

This program is the kick-off to a week of children's programs sponsored by the generous donations of the Friends of Freeman Library for their annual Books Alive! Week.  In addition to the petting zoo, the week of activities includes:  New Orleans-based singer and children's author, Johnette Downing, will perform for us at the Clear Lake City Recreation Center on Tuesday, March 12 at 3:00 pm; Clifford the Big Red Dog celebrates his 50th birthday by visiting Freeman on Wednesday, March 13 from 2:30-4:30 pm; volunteers from Second Chance Pets bring some of their rescue dog friends to visit on Thursday, March 14 from 2:30-3:30 pm; and we'll have some fun with chalk art on Friday, March 15 from 2;30-3:30 pm.
