New Year’s Resolutions: Body Image
Do you make New Year’s Resolutions? Pretty much every year I’ve made the same resolutions: to live a healthier life, to lose weight, and to get more exercise. In the past I did not feel very positively about my appearance; I felt self-conscious and uncomfortable in my own skin. It sometimes felt like I needed a radically different body type in order to fit in. But as time has gone by and I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to be more comfortable with myself and to make my New Year’s resolution about the benefits a healthier lifestyle brings to me personally, not what other people may think about my shape and size.
