Catch As Cat Can BY Rita Mae Brown

"The best friends come on four feet."  Sometimes the best detectives do too. When the suspicious death of the local lothario, and even more suspicious behavior of the deceased man's brother, casts a shadow over Crozet's annual Dogwood Festival and Wrecker's Ball, and eventually to another death, it will be up to Mary Minor "Harry" Haristeen and her trio of pets, Mrs. Murphy, Tee Tucker and Pewter the cat, to cut to the heart of the matter before the killer gets away.

The North Channel Book Club will be discussing "Catch As Cat Can" by Rita Mae Brown on Wednesday, August 28 at 10 am in the public meeting room.  Join us for refreshments and discussion. Titles are available at the front desk.

The book club selection for September will be "The Whistling Season," by Ivan Doig.
