Sharpie Tie Dye Program: Tuesday, July 20th
Tuesday, July 20th @ 3:30 p.m.
The library staff will be presenting a Sharpie tie-dying program for kids. We will provide a bandana for children to use during the program. However, I would like to suggest that children bring a white t-shirt that has been prewashed and dried for the project.
- The Sharpies are a permanent marker so wear appropriate clothing.
- This program is recommended for children 7 years - tween.
All children need to be able to sit through the program without an adult. Free tickets are required for the program and provided 30 minutes prior to the program, and space is limited.
Note for Parents: After the dying, and when the shirt/bandana has completely dried, tumble in clothes dryer for about 15 minutes to set the colors.
If you would like to do the project at home, you can get information on the Steve Spangle Science website.
