Teen Programs:

Minecraft Mania and Basic Coding

codeMinecraft

On Tuesday, July 22nd @ 3pm in the Teen Area, we will be making life-size Minecraft pick-axes and torches.  Then, on Friday, July 25th @ 3pm in the Computer Lab, we will learn the basics of coding thanks to Code Academy’s online lessons.  This program requires registration, so sign up early!  These programs are for teens ages 12-18, or those entering grades 6-12 in the fall.

Materials are generously provided by FOLK; supplies are limited.  Attending one (or both!) of these programs will earn you an entry to put in one of our six end of summer prize packs; you can earn one entry for each program you attend.   For more information, please contact Leanne, YA Librarian, by phone at 281-360-6804, by email at kwteens@hcpl.net, or by clicking here.
