What You Might Not Know About Dr. Seuss
Many of you are familiar with the beloved children's books written by Dr. Seuss. What you may not be aware of is that "Dr. Seuss" was a nom de plume. His given name was Theodor Seuss Geisel.
What is even more surprising is that "Dr. Seuss" was just one of the author's pen names. He also wrote several books as Theo LeSieg (Geisel spelled backwards), and one book as Rosetta Stone.
Harris County Public Libraries will be presenting special Dr. Seuss storytime at each branch. Program times and dates vary; therefore, I would recommend that you check with your local branch for additional details.
Checkout the PBS website for additional information regarding their new t.v. show highlighting the characters created by Dr. Seuss.
