Building Improvement Update

Staff Member Drilling Holes for WiringWe just wanted to take a second to update you guys on some improvements we are doing at the Aldine Branch. Outlets have been attached to the tops of our tables, so that it will be easier to plug in laptops and other electronic devices. Hopefully this will keep any customer from having to crouch, scrunch, or contort to get the power he or she needs. We have also taken extra steps to ensure that any extra cords will not be in the way.

This is just one project in a series of many we are working on to improve the library experience. Stay tuned for further updates!

Fun for All @ the Aldine Library Fall Festival!

Their Space

Teens with Art SuppliesWanting to give the Young Adult section of the Aldine Branch Library a bit of a makeover, a group of teens have gotten together to let their creativity flow. For them, there’s just too much blank space that they can’t help but want to express themselves. Be on the lookout here on-line as well in the YA section of the building for updates of how things are going.

Fall into a book

Fall is finally here! We have set aside some Fall-related titles in our book display in the lobby of the Aldine Library. Let us know if you wish to check out one of these books. We would be glad to get one or more out for you. In the display case you will also see a flyer advertising our upcoming Fall Festival that will take place on Saturday, October 29th from 10 AM until 1 PM. Come take a look!
