Hurricane Preparedness

Hurricane Evacuation Route SignOn Tuesday, September 8th at 2 PM the Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management will present a hurricane preparedness workshop at the Aldine Branch Library. Come and learn responsibilities during a hurricane, get evacuation tips, and find out if your disaster emergency kit is adequate.

 

Are You Smarter Than The YA Librarian?

Teens, the Aldine Branch Library has started Are You Smarter than a Librarian? to celebrate the beginning of the new school year. A brainteaser has been posted in our Young Adult area for those who wish to stretch their thinking skills. The first to submit the correct answer in the proper manner, will receive a prize. Children's SRP in Review

Singers, Children, Clown, JugglerSchool is back in session and that means another Summer Reading Program has come and gone. The Aldine Branch Library was just overflowing with children’s activities this summer. We had clowns, crafts, musicians, jugglers, animals, and much more.
