Volunteer @ the Library

Do you want to do more to help your community?  Volunteer at the library!  We’ll be having a New Volunteer Orientation next Monday, April 7th at 6:30 PM.  You’ll learn more about the volunteer opportunities available at the library.  All ages are welcome, though anyone under the age of 12 must volunteer with a parent or guardian who has also attended the orientation.  You can pick up an application at the Information Desk!

Fizz! Boom! Read!

Before you know it, it's going to be summer and time for our Summer Reading Program, "Fizz, Boom, Read!" So I am going to start recommending books somewhat related to the science based theme. The first book, or series is Franny K. Stein: Mad Scientist by J.K. Benton. This fabulous early chapter book series is about a girl who is a mad scientist and all the problems her experiments get her and everyone around her into.
