Teens, this is the last week to enter our Teen Tech Week Internet Scavenger Hunt.  Show us you’re an internet whiz, and you could win a $25 Best Buy gift card!  And come hang out with us on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00pm in our Teen Room.  We have laptops, snacks, games, drawing, and sometimes movies.

Be sure and take a look at the pictures we have on display depictiing the Harris County Public Library going back as far as the 1920's.  You won't believe the pictures of  the bookmobiles!

For Teen Tech Week, the Katy Branch Library is having an internet scavenger hunt for the teens in Katy.  Answer the questions below, send your answers to kt @ hcpl.net by March 14, and you're entered in a drawing for the prize.

This Saturday is all for adults.  At 10:30am, we have our monthly Mystery Book Club.  Then, stick around for our 2:00pm demonstration of Raw and Living Food.  Find out how to eat your way to better health.

 

BILINGUAL STORYTIME

     Every Monday at 2:00, the Katy Branch Library holds bilingual storytime.  Songs and stories are presented in English and Spanish along with a weekly craft.  This storytime is designed for children 3 to 6 years old, but all children are welcome.  Join us for stories about rain on Monday, March 1.
