WESTWARD HO, TO THE OPERA

The Katy Branch Library is proud to present the opera presentation of Westward Ho, Carlotta by the Houston Grand Opera's Storybook Opera.  Musical artist, Sandra Campbell, will introduce young children to the picture book using music and songs.  Thursday, January 20 10:30 am  

Happy Birthday to Us!

The Katy Library is turning 90 this year!  Help us celebrate by sharing your memories of the library in Katy.  Write them up, video them, or come in and let us capture your favorite moments spent in our current building on Franz, the old fire station location, or previous locations.  Submissions are due by March 1 and will be displayed at the birthday party in April.  For more information or for submissions, contact us at kt @ hcpl.net or 281-391-3509.  We look forward to sharing this special year with you.

Get ready for the SAT

Kaplan is back at the Katy Branch  to offer a free practice SAT test on Saturday, January 29 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.   Teens can register in person at the library or can call us at 281 391-3509.
