The Week @ the Katy Library – July 19th Edition

Family TreeAttention all genealogists: we have something new starting for you this week.  Every Monday at noon we’ll have a Genealogy Lunchbox program where you bring your lunch and we’ll bring the tools.  Besides getting together with other people researching their family trees, you’ll be able to use laptops to access Ancestry.com and other internet sites as well as pick up blank forms and information to help you.

Turn Your Thumb Green!

Have you always wanted to grow a vegetable garden but didn't know how to begin?  Or do you already have a garden but want tips to make it better?  A local master gardener will be here at the Katy Branch on Thursday, July 29 at 2:00pm to let us know what we need to do to garden successfully in the Katy/Houston area.  While you're here, check out one of the books we have on display.
