Todder Time Sign-Ups

Next week (October 25-29th) we will begin registrations for November toddler storytimes. Children ages 18 months to 3 years may sign up for one of three weekly storytimes. Each storytime will be limited to 15 toddlers to ensure each child has a quality and personalized experience.  Parents may choose between storytimes on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m or 11:15 or Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Registration may be done in person in the children's department or by calling 281-360-6804 and requesting the children's department.

Percy Jackson Party

Percy Jackson fans, we're having a Percy Jackson Party in the Children's Activity Room on Monday, October 25 at 4 pm.  Test your knowledge of who's who on Mt. Olympus, join a sword fight to save it, walk the maze, make a laurel wreath to crown yourself, and consult an oracle to find with which god you share simillar traits. Percy likes blue food, and we will have snacks and food in that color. You are welcome to come dressed as one of the characters from the book.

Chiptunes: Friday @ 4pm!

Alright teens and tweens, I expect to see lots of you on Friday for Chiptunes: Music Meets Video Games. It starts @ 4pm in the Children's Activity Room (the large meeting room is booked for early voting). If you like music and you like video games, they you'll love Chiptunes. Come and see how an ordinary piece of video equipment can be turned into a musical instrument. This is way cooler than Rockband :) And check out the sweet gaming system below. You know Sonic the Hedgehog? Meet Sega, the gaming system that brought you Sonic. That's one sweet console. That is, if you like consoles from the 80's
