Daytime Excel Class Offered!!

Have you been looking for a daytime Excel Class?  The Kingwood Library will be offering "Basic MS Excel - 2007" this Thursday, December 6, from 1 - 3 PM in our Computer Lab.  The class will cover the basics of using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.  Register in person or contact our Adult Services department @ 281-360-6804. 

Score presents "So You Want to Start a Business?"

BusinessCalling all small business owners and owners-to-be! On Tuesday, December 4th at 10:30 AM, Score, Counselors to America's Small Business, will present "So You Want to Start a Business?" at Kingwood Branch Library. This free workshop will equip you with all you need to know about doing business in Houston, including resources available to you. The workshop will be held in the Meeting Room located on the 1st floor of 4400 Bens View Lane and is open to the public. No registration is required. Dragoneers to Make Suncatchers

Kids come join Miss Connie and the Dragoneers Thursday, November 29, at 4 pm in the Children's Activity Room to make a suncatcher, a little craft to brighten a window.  All the supplies you will need to make one will be provided from funds from the Friends of the Library Kingwood, F.O.L.K.

There will be some snacks, too.

Email MarketingCalling all small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs! On Tuesday, November 27, Celina of Northeast Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will present "Power of Email Marketing" at Kingwood Branch Library. This program is ideal for individuals looking to increase business visibility and enrich customer contact.  This program is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Program starts at 10:30 AM 11:30 AM and is held in the Meeting Room located on the 1st floor.
