Altered Books Contest at Kingwood Library

Altered BooksIn honor of National Library Week, Kingwood Branch Library is hosting an Altered Books contest open to all ages in April.

What are altered books you ask? Altered books are books that are modified in a variety of ways to make an artistic or personal statement. Books can be used as a canvas, re-purposed to function a different way, the sky's the limit! We encourage participants to be creative.
